My husband and I celebrated our first year of marriage last weekend by running away for the weekend and leaving the kiddo with my mom. We ran off to the San Bernandino Mountains and stayed in Big Bear, CA. We had such a great time, we made the 3 hour return trip the next day, picked up the kid, and ran back to the mountains. We stayed 2 more days and loved it. The change in scenery was just what we needed. And the scenery truly was beautiful.
I can't believe a year ago I was stressed beyond belief with wedding planning. I remember being so relieved to finally be married. This year has been eventful with many ups and downs and always coming out on top. I am blessed.
