That's all folks. Seriously. Skeptics I understand your hesitancy. It sounds weird. Why is she doing this? Nothing comes for free, right?
Why is she doing this?
Well, it sounded weird (and a bit illegal) to offer a free session then make you pay for something. That can't legally be called a Giveaway. So I offered what I could for free. And a free session with disk of complimentary images and a Canvas are what I decided on.
So how does it work?
You live in or will be visiting the San Diego area. I draw the winner, say whoo you won! Let's hang out next Saturday or Sunday!
We meet and take photos for 30 minutes at a pretty location, like a park, open field, downtown, etc.
1 week later, I post a password protected online gallery for you.
You choose your fave photo. I place an order for it on an the free 11 x 14 canvas.
2 weeks after order is placed I receive Canvas and call you. We meet up, I deliver Canvas and disk.
Yay!
Can I get this for Christmas?
Absolutely. If we act fast.
Let's break down a best circumstance timeline: December 6 you win. I call you. December 8 or 9 we take pics. December 15 I post online gallery. You select a pic ASAP. I place order for canvas December 16. Canvas arrives juuust before Christmas. I deliver you a pretty awesome Christmas gift of a Canvas and disk images.
Not too shabby.
What if I want to order prints? That's not free.
By all means, if you DO want prints? Well that's cool and I do have to charge for prints, but you don't have to order them. You are free (there's that word again) to post your disk images on Facebook, send them via email to Grandma, etc. You may even get them printed at the store.
A word of warning * Printing a professional photo on your home printer or at Costco/Target/Walmart will not give you the same results as what I would delver to you. But you gotta do what you gotta do. I offer an extremly competive printing price, so talk to me. That is all.*
Hmmm maybe....
The basis of it all is this: We are made to use our gifts. I believe photography is a gift of mine. Sometimes we are called on to use these gifts of ours in a non-profilt sort of way. When the time is right, I really like to give. Especially at the Holidays and for maybe a circumstance where the gift just came at the right time. I truly want to give you something to cherish that came out of the goodness of my heart with no financial strings attached. I want you to hold your gift and say, hey, I'm glad I won. This is awesome.
Please, go enter to win. We will put new memories of your family on disk. Let's document this time in your life and have a Happy Holiday with it. :)
